Current BCBA and NYS LBA
At least 3 years of home and/or school based experience working with children with Autism or other developmental disabilities
30 billables hrs. a week.
3 to 4 days a week in-person.
Ability to build strong, supportive relationships with parents, team members and other caregivers
Excellent professional writing skills.
Ability to speak fluently using ABA terminology and also have the ability to simplify for non behavioral audiences
Open to feedback and frequent supervision, apply feedback and modify own behavior
CPR & BLS Certifications/Re-certifications
Pass Federal, State, and County background check
Create, modify and monitor programming and behavior intervention plans
Continuously analyze data and implement program changes as needed
Conduct formal assessments (ABLLS,AFLS, VB-MAPP, etc.)
Maintain client programs and materials organized and up to date
Write reports
Collaborate with team of LBA's and BCBAs
Keep consistent and respectful communication with parents
Provide family training when necessary
Maintain supervision notes and documentation in client files that meet the insurance provider guidelines and company policies.
Provide ongoing training in behavior change techniques as needed to behavior technicians
The clinical supervisor must be easily accessible (either in person or by phone) for any concerns or consultations during sessions.
Provide positive and negative feedback during supervision to behavior technicians as necessary to ensure the BIP is carried out with integrity
Communicate directly with behavior technicians and client’s family to schedule and/or cancel supervision visits and caregiver meetings in accordance with insurance requirements and company policies
Maintain compliance with the BACB’s task list, including all ethical guidelines
Maintain a professional relationship with behavior technicians, clients, and family members at all times
Submit your timesheet on the correct schedule
Maintain session notes
Communicate directly with the family (or relevant party) regarding scheduling and/or cancelling sessions
Keep a running tab of direct service hours and/or supervision hours each month to ensure you do not go over the allowable hours on the client’s authorization. (This information will be given to you upon starting a new case. You may request more if necessary, but the request will not be retroactive.)
