Protocol Engineer

This role is with a Calyptus partner.Our partners work in the blockchain space so please only apply if this is an area of interest.------------------------------------------------------------------------ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain our protocol and nodeDevelop and test blockchain protocols and smart contractsBuild, test, debug, and deploy large-scale decentralized systems across thousands of nodesLead the process for internal and external smart contract auditsOwn projects end-to-end, from requirements, scoping, design, to implementation, in a highly collaborative and cross-functional environment.RequirementsYou have 2+ years of software engineering experience in building low-level protocolsYou have strong knowledge of blockchain, smart contracts, and consensus algorithmsYou have experience in Rust or GoYou have strong communication and collaboration abilitiesYou have excellent problem-solving skills and ability to learn quicklyYou write high quality and well tested codeYou have experience working with a cloud-native tech stack (e.g AWS/GCP)Soft SkillsPrevious experience in a startup environmentContributions to open source projectsPreviously built a L1 or L2 blockchain------------------------------------------------------------------------Calyptus is an employment platform for engineers looking for work in Web3.Register at https://calyptus.co/register/ to apply for 40+ other roles.
