Compensation $31.12hr -- $46.68hrAssists with coordination and operation of Rehabilitation Therapy Services.Responsible for the safe planning and implementation of medically prescribed Speech Therapy treatment programs based on patient needs.Provide Speech Therapy in a professional and safe manner to meet the quality standard set forth by the American Speech and Hearing Association including, but not limited to: Evaluations, dysphagia treatments, aphasia treatments, patient education and instruction.Maintains accurate records by performing documentation on patient's medical record in a timely and efficient manner.Participates in staff development activities and workshops to increase professional competence and skills.Education:M.A. or M.S. degree in Speech and Language Pathology from an accredited University.Certificate of ClinicalCompetence in Speech Language Pathology.Experience:Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year.One year of clinical experience is preferred.One to three months on-the-job training to learn department procedures.Knowledge and skills relevant to the needs, assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients.Licenses/Certificates:Certificate of Clinical competence in Speech Language Pathology.Licensure in State of Illinois.CPR certification.
