Job Title: Machine Operator $24/hrJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Machine Operator for the 2nd Shift (2:15pm - 10:45pm).The successful candidate will:Perform set-ups and operate various types of machinery including saws, shear, punch presses, cold saws, reamers, tube shearer, axle machines, cross tie press, drill press, and stake machine.Ensuring product quality by meeting engineering specifications, conducting mechanical assembly, performing machine maintenance, and utilizing micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Additional duties may involve assisting in other departments, including the paint line, and performing inspections of finished parts for accuracy.Hard SkillsExperience with work instructions or drawingsOperating machineryMechanical aptitudeAbility to lift up to 50 lbsWork EnvironmentClean and well-lit environment. The role requires regular standing, walking, using hands to handle or feel, reaching with hands and arms, and talking or hearing. Occasionally, the employee must climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
