Teacher, CTE -Education and Training- Part Time

Primary Purpose:Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in the core academic subject area assigned to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.Qualifications:Education/CertificationBachelor's degree from accredited universityValid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or related training and work experience for certification waivers under the District of Innovation Plan (DOI)Special Knowledge/Skills:Knowledge of career and technical education subject assignedGeneral knowledge of curriculum and instructionAbility to instruct students and manage their behaviorAbility to oversee student field experiences in career area assignedStrong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsExperience:Student teaching or 2 years of wage-earning experience in the area of certification
