Responsibilities Prepare a variety of baked goods including pastries, cakes, bread, and other confections following established recipes and standards Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, ovens, and knives safely and efficiently to support high-volume production Package baked items carefully to maintain freshness and presentation for customer purchase or display Decorate tarts and pastries with precision, creativity, and attention to detail to meet customer specifications Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to food safety management practices and sanitation protocols Assist in food handling tasks including ingredient measurement, dough kneading, and pastry preparation Support food production processes by adhering strictly to recipe guidelines and quality standards Experience Previous experience in food production or bakery settings is preferred; experience with baking or pastry preparation is highly valued Demonstrated ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong knife skills and familiarity with bread making techniques are advantageous Experience in high-volume food production environments helps ensure efficiency during busy periods Knowledge of food safety practices, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing portion sizes Excellent customer service skills are a plus for engaging positively with customers when needed Join us as a Bakery Associate if you’re passionate about baking, eager to develop your culinary skills, and ready to contribute to a dynamic team dedicated to creating delicious baked goods that brighten our customers’ day!
