We are serving long-term sustainable trends.Our Business LineEcoservices provides sulfuric acid regeneration, virgin sulfuric acid, treatment services, and much more.What We Have To OfferCompetitive payFull benefit package starting day 1401k matchingTuition ReimbursementPosition OverviewThis position serves as the company’s subject matter expert (SME) for applicability of, interpretation of, and best practice guidance for OSHA’s Process Safety Management (PSM), CCPS Risk Based 20 PSM Elements and EPA’s Risk Management Plan (RMP) regulations. They support assigned sites (3-4 plants in the Gulf, West Coast Regions, or a mixture between both). Travel will be about 40% to different sites. What You Will Be DoingHAZARD MGMT & DESIGN SAFETYFacilitate, conduct, & document PHAs (typically HAZOP, HAZID, Risk Assessments, What-If…) at plant sites.Enter PHA recommendations into Action Tracking.Prepare PHA key learnings message for each applicable departmentDrive 5-year PHA revalidation schedule and track milestones.AUDITS & INSPECTIONSBack up liaison for PSM/RMP regulatory visits/inspections, should local site be unable to take point.PROCEDURES & PROGRAMSFormulate short term and long-term strategies to improve safe operationsAssist in developing new and maintaining network and/or local PSM Procedures.Seek opportunities to standardize and customize the PSM program to improve compliance effectiveness and efficiency.HSE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMSSupport RC14001® review and audit programLead/Facilitate 20 RBPS element implementation and their audits.TRAININGKeep new-hire PSM/RMP orientation training material currentLead new hire and/or refresher PSM-program training as needed.FIELD PRESENCEConduct periodic field audits and observations throughout the year.Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree required, preferably in Chemical or Mechanical EngineeringMinimum 10+ years’ experience in an industrial setting - prefer chemical plant / refinery, or Oil/Gas/Petrochemical experience.Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Process Safety Management preferred.Minimum 5+ years’ experience delivering PSM Design Hazard Management (DHM) in a project setting.Direct operations, engineering, projects (Design/Execution), turnarounds, and/or maintenance experience preferred.Deep knowledge of OSHA PSM, EPA RMP, RBPS CCPS 20 elements and RAGAGEPAbility to speak in front of a group and demonstrated ability to be effective trainerWorks well under pressure – ability to meet tight deadlines with quality resultsStrong communication/inter-personal skills – able to inspire and encourage the use of best practices at plant sites. Able to communicate with plant staff, management, and regulatory agenciesAbility to organize tasks and consistently produce results with minimal supervisionMust well versed in MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, & Outlook. SAP experience a plus. Must be well versed in PHA Pro, or equivalent softwareMust be able to attain a Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC)
