Software Engineer IIOur client, a credit card company, is looking for a Software Engineer II for their O'Fallon, MO/Hybrid location.Responsibilities:Design components by translating product requirements, break down project into tasks and provide accurate estimatesIndependently come up with different solutions, extensible low level design. Write modular, extensible, readable and performant codeChoose the right data structures, tools and tech stacks and be able to do high level designing with guidanceResearch new frameworks and technologies, assist with prototyping and proof-of-concepts, participate in code reviewsCollaborate with teams by contributing to the shared vision and working closely with cross-functional stakeholdersYou will be responsible for the components you (and or your team) build and will support them till the time they are live in productionRequirements:Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of managementAbility to build rapport and relationshipsSomeone understanding the concept of operations first, focusing on usability, operability of applications from the get goProblem solver and solution-seeking approachHands on experience in building complex and highly scalable and performing systemsSolid understanding and hands-on experience in Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Kafka, RESTful web services and JPAYou have experience in building AI assisted application, autonomous and semi-autonomous agents and agentic workflow systems that coordinate multi-step tasks.Strong belief in continuous refactoring and adhering to S.O.L.I.D design principles.Exposure to building cloud ready applications (microservices)Practitioner of Test Driven DevelopmentExposure to Continuous Delivery and IntegrationTeam playerAgile Scrum experienceWhy Should You Apply?Health benefitsReferral programExcellent growth and advancement opportunities
