Director of Operations

Redington-Fairview General Hospital (RFGH) has been providing care as an independent, community hospital in Skowhegan, Maine since 1952. Today, RFGH is a 25-bed critical access facility that provides health care for more than 30,000 residents living in Somerset County, which extends from Skowhegan to the Canadian border. Redington Fairview General Hospital is seeking a Director of Operations who will be responsible for the overall operations of the hospital’s services and in collaboration with the executive management team, fulfills the vision of the organization through the implementation of the strategic plan to ensure the mission, goals and objectives of the organization and those it serves are being met. Primary Responsibilities: Direct oversight of the Plant Operations, Materials and Capital Purchasing, Environmental Services, Accounts Payable, Education, Public Health, Marketing and Public Relations. Collaboration with the Quality Program, Providers, Physician Office Managers, IT, and Department Managers to ensure high quality, safe care and services are delivered to our community. Participation in a support or leadership capacity in development projects such as establishing new services, construction and major implementations of technology. Requirements: Excellent teamwork, collaboration leadership skills. Strong understanding of healthcare business functions. Analytical mindset with great problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
