Housekeeping SupervisorThe Housekeeping Supervisor oversees daily housekeeping operations for the resort's cabins, bathhouses, laundry areas, and common spaces. This role involves both supervisory duties and hands-on cleaning. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and able to maintain high standards in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervision & LeadershipOversee a small housekeeping team, including training, scheduling, and daily task assignmentsInspect cabins, restrooms, and common facilities to ensure cleanliness meets resort standardsProvide coaching and support to team members to improve efficiency and qualityHousekeeping OperationsClean and prepare cabins between guest stays, including linens, surfaces, kitchens, and bathroomsMaintain cleanliness of bathhouses, laundry rooms, and common areasRestock linens, toiletries, and cleaning suppliesMonitor inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishmentGuest ServiceRespond promptly to guest requests or concerns related to housekeepingEnsure quick turnaround of cabins for check-insHelp maintain a friendly, welcoming atmosphere throughout the resortSafety & ComplianceEnsure staff follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelinesReport maintenance issues or safety hazards immediatelyMaintain proper use and storage of cleaning equipment and chemicalsQualificationsPrevious housekeeping experience required; supervisory experience preferredHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as neededAble to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physically active tasksStrong communication skills and a team-oriented mindsetReliable, self-motivated, and able to work independentlyThis is a full-time, year-round position working at Ocean Grove RV Resort located in St. Augustine, Florida. Flexible scheduling required including weekends and holidays.
