Salon Manager

As an extension of our client's Human Resource Department; we assist in the selection, implementation, recommendation and maintenance of their employee benefits program. Our team primarily works autonomously but also collaborates with one another to ensure continued success in a supportive environment.Minimum Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Current Oregon Insurance Producer license or willing to obtain (employer provides training)- Experience with Microsoft Office- Driver's license and vehicle to drive to clients locations. (mileage reimbursed)Preferred (Not Required):- Associate's or Bachelor's degreeEmployer Notes:- Employer conducts a background check and drug test- Position involves ongoing continuing education to keep insurance license in good standing- The position is onsite and does not offer the option to work remotely- Ideal candidate is self-motivated, has strong organizational skills and attention to detail and demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skillsJob Duties:- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with clients while identifying their needs and ascertaining their long-term goals- Assist clients in selecting insurance policies (life and health) that meet their needs and budgets and explain the benefits clearly- Promote and sell a variety of insurance products, ensuring all necessary forms are filled out and filed- Provide exceptional customer service and support. Assist clients as needed with claim processes- Communicate with insurance carriers- Stay up to date on industry news, trends, and regulations through participation in educational opportunities, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations- Enhance agency reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishmentsHours and Pay:- Monday through Friday from 8am until 4:30pm with a one-hour lunch break from 12pm until 1pm- $25, depending on experience and qualifications- Employer observes all Federal Holidays, offers competitive pay as well as a robust benefits package, including medical insurance, group life insurance, supplemental voluntary insurance, and a qualified paid leave Oregon plan
