Job DescriptionENT with Sleep Opening - North Wilkesboro, NC80 miles from Greensboro and 85 miles from Charlotte*Sleep Medicine subspecialty is desired, but not required*Position Information:Full-time, permanent positionPractice hours are Monday Thursday: 8:00 am-5:00 pm and Friday: 8:00 am-2:00 pm. Call requirement including ENT call for Emergency Department six days per month, as well as practice call. Performs medical history, physical examinations, routine assessments and determines treatment plan for patients.Sleep Medicine fellowship or subspecialty certification will evaluate patients with sleep-related issues, utilize outpatient Sleep Lab at Medical Center and/or request home sleep studies, read HST/PSG studies, and recommend plan of careQualifications:Medical degree and successful completion of an accredited Otolaryngology residency program.Board Certification or Board Eligible in Otolaryngology or Sleep Medicine.Valid medical license to practice in North Carolina.Certification in BCLS, ACLS required if stress tests performed or as required by specialty.Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing required.About North Wilkesboro, NC:Love life in North Carolinas beautiful Wilkesboro.
