NextJS Software Engineer

Job Title: Senior NextJS UI Engineer with Tailwind ExpLocation: Remote/Portland, ORDuration: 3 Months with confirmed extensions (Part-time 20 hours per week)Client: DirectThe ideal person is a strong, senior-level developer who can jump into an established codebase, identify and resolve issues with minimal handholding, and work effectively within an existing sprint cadence. They’ll partner closely with a BE engineer, QA, and Producer to prioritize work and keep things moving smoothly with the client. Excellent communications skills a must.Key experience we’re looking for:• Strong Next.js experience• Strong Tailwind CSS experience• Meaningful product experience — ideally working on and evolving established digital products/applications• Strong troubleshooting and technical debt/refactoring experience• Comfortable working independently and navigating an existing codebase• Experience collaborating within a sprint-based, cross-functional team• Accessibility experience is a plusThis is less about someone who primarily builds marketing sites and more about someone who has experience working within and improving an ongoing product.
