Brick Machine Operator

DescriptionBrick Machine operator must learn how to operate all extrusion equipment in the making dept. You will be responsible for correct setup of equipment, monitor green brick size and correct application of brick coatings and body additives. Operator must monitor and record information daily for brick quality.RequirementsMust be able to learn safe operation of all making extrusion equipment.Must have ability to read and understand mix sheets and computer settings.Must have ability to learn procedures for replacing machine partsMust be able to maintain production levelsMust be a good team playerMust be able to learn safe operation of overhead craneMust be able to operate forklift. (license required)Must be able to measure brick size and maintain quality standardsMust have ability to work unsupervisedAbility to work overtime if neededOperator will help keep work area cleanOperator may be asked to help in other areas as needed
