Job Description The ideal candidate will be responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data across a diverse portfolio of clients. It is essential that this candidate brings strong analytical and organizational skills to provide high-level support to our accounting team and maintain our standards of excellence.ResponsibilitiesClient Advisory: Work closely with multiple clients to understand and ensure the accuracy of all financial reporting activity.Full-Cycle Accounting: Provide general accounting, bookkeeping, and month-end closing services for a variety of industries.Systems Management: Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Sage, etc.), payroll interfaces (ADP, QBO Payroll), and advanced Excel functions.Data Integrity: Enter and categorize bank, credit card, and payroll transactions into appropriate general ledger accounts.Reconciliations: Perform comprehensive bank and account reconciliations.A/R & A/P: Manage Accounts Receivable (invoicing and payment application) and Accounts Payable (bill entry and payment processing) on behalf of clients.Year-End Support: Assist in year-end 1099 reporting and financial preparation for external tax preparers.Special Projects: Carry out other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance.Experience: 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience is required. *Experience working with Non-Profit Organizations (NPO) is a significant plus.Software Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Microsoft Excel.Soft Skills: Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.Position DetailsType: Full-time, M-F 8am–5pm (On-site)Industry: AccountingBenefits: Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance; AFLAC Benefits; PTO; 401(k)Company DescriptionHolloway Accounting Services is a registered accounting firm that primarily offers tailored outsourced CFO, accounting, operational, and marketing solutions for small to mid-size companies.
