Pay: $47.14 - $49.34 per hourLooking for your next opportunity in vegetation management? Core Tree Care is hiring Forepersons and Journeyman Trimmers in various California locations.Petaluma, Pittsburg, American Canyon and Napa area. Key Responsibilities:Perform essential vegetation management tasks, including:Demonstrate and perform safe climbing techniques and procedures, pruning skills, application of approved knots and rigging techniques.Safely operate chainsaws, chippers, and other equipment for tree clearing, bucking, and climbing.Setting up job sites, managing debris clean-up, and ensuring traffic control.Conducting routine inspections and maintenance of vehicles and equipment.Lead and develop your crew:Lead team through essential daily functions to perform projects safely and efficiently.Manage job sites and provide training to crew members to ensure safety and efficient work.Take responsibility for crew safety, equipment management, and maintaining high standards.Complete necessary paperwork, communicate effectively with customers, and maintain safety and quality alignment with Core Tree Care’s standards.Requirements:Strong leadership qualities and a commitment to training and developing crew members.Proficiency in safe rigging practices, equipment inspections, and climbing or bucket operations (based on crew needs).Ability to perform physical labor for a full workday in various outdoor conditionsExcellent communication skills for customer interactions and team coordination.Valid Driver’s License (CDL a plus).Essential certifications and experience:CPR and First Aid certification.Must be a Line Clearance Qualified Arborist.Minimum of 18 months of line clearance.Ability to perform all climbing duties without direct supervision.Must pass a documented skills assessment.Preferred Qualifications:CDL Class A license preferred, not required.ISA Certified Tree Work preferred.Bilingual (English/Spanish)Pre-Screening Requirements:Candidates may be required to pass a pre‑employment drug screen, background check, and/or MVR review.
