Field Support Technician, North America (New York Based)

We’re looking for a technically inclined Field Support Technician to join our growing North American team.In this role, you’ll be the go-to expert for Framery’s installation partners and dealer networks. You will offer a mix of hands-on on-site support and remote assistance for product installations, troubleshooting, and field-based training.You will work independently within a collaborative team that operates across time zones, with headquarters support from Finland. You’ll be joining a team that already has a presence on the West Coast; your primary focus will be our operations across the Eastern United States and Canada. Overall, our broader US-based team consists of approximately 30 Framerians in sales, support, and logistics roles, all collaborating to ensure our customers' success.Your day-to-day includes:Hands-on Problem Solving: Whether you’re helping train a partner's crew, overseeing a large-scale installation, or solving a hardware challenge on-site, your physical presence and technical expertise will make all the difference.Expert Guidance: Leading installers through setup processes and ensuring every Framery solution meets our high standards of quality.Strategic Training: Training stakeholders and assisting sales teams with technical requirements.Proactive Coordination: You will be responsible for organizing your own work and scheduling, ensuring that travel, on-site tasks, and administrative duties (like time-tracking and reporting) are handled efficiently.Responsive Support: Acting as a "hotline" resource, providing quick and clear communication to partners in need of immediate technical solutions.The position is remote-based, and travel is a significant part of the job (up to 50%). While you will occasionally travel across the entire North American continent, we are specifically looking for a candidate ideally based in New York. This location ensures smooth, quick access to our end clients in New York City and other major hubs along the Eastern Seaboard.What Makes You a Great Fit?You’re a "hands-on" person at heart, but you understand that clear communication is just as important as a screwdriver. You are highly self-motivated and capable of managing your own schedule and logistics without constant supervision.
