Responsibilities
Assist with electrical systems installation on construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and industry standards
Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to support accurate wiring and conduit layouts
Use hand tools and power tools to perform conduit bending, electrical wiring, and other installation tasks
Support the testing and troubleshooting of electrical circuits using tools like ohmmeters and multimeters
Follow NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association code) and NEC (National Electrical Code) compliance standards during all work activities
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all safety procedures are followed at all times
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while prioritizing safety and quality
Requirements
Prior experience or exposure to industrial or commercial electrician work is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential
Familiarity with electrical schematic reading and interpretation is a plus
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic testing equipment such as ohmmeters confidently
Knowledge of electrical safety procedures, including NFPA 70 compliance and general construction site safety protocols
Experience with conduit bending, electrical wiring, and installing low voltage systems is advantageous
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow technical instructions accurately
Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation may be required depending on project locations
