This role ensures molds, materials, and processes are set correctly so parts meet quality, safety, and production standards.Shift Schedule: Sunday - Tuesday and every other Wednesday. 5:50pm - 6:00amKey Responsibilities:Perform mold changes and machine setups according to the production scheduleInstall, connect, and verify water lines, air lines, hydraulics, and auxiliary equipmentLoad and confirm correct resins, colorants, and additives per job requirementsSet and adjust machine parameters during startup to meet quality specificationsStart machines and approve parts prior to full production runTroubleshoot setup and startup issues related to molds, materials, and equipmentWork closely with operators, quality, and maintenance to resolve production issuesComplete setup documentation and update process sheets as requiredFollow all safety procedures, including lockout tagout and housekeeping standardsSupport continuous improvement efforts and standard work practicesOn-Site: This role is required to be on-site 5 days at the Denver, CO location.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent0-2 years of Previous experience in a plastics injection molding setup or technician roleWorking knowledge of injection molding machines, molds, and materialsAbility to read setup sheets, job travelers, and basic part printsStrong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skillsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience with specific molding machines, robots, or auxiliary equipmentUnderstanding of scientific molding or process optimization techniquesForklift or overhead crane experienceBasic computer skills for data entry and documentationWork Environment:Manufacturing floor environment with exposure to heat, noise, and moving equipmentStanding, walking, bending, lifting, and pushing throughout the shiftShift work, overtime, and weekend work may be requiredCompensationIn compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $23.50 - $28.50.Compensation can vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
