Job Position: RTD Batch Maker Location: Sparta, WI Pay: $22.05 per hour, plus an additional $1.00 per hour shift differential Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1:25 PM-9:30 PM; overtime on Saturdays as needed Department: Production Position Type: Temp-to-Hire Reports To: Production Manager Why Join RSS Talent Partners? In this role, you'll help blend ingredients safely and accurately while supporting a clean, productive, and quality-focused manufacturing environment. What You’ll Do Follow specific blending instructions to produce quality product in a safe, sanitary, and productive manner. Measure, verify, and blend ingredients according to batch sheets and established procedures. Double-check lot numbers and ingredient weights against blend sheets to help ensure accuracy. Run basic analytical tests to confirm ingredient requirements and product specifications. Work closely with quality control personnel to review testing results and respond quickly when adjustments are needed. Communicate production or quality concerns to the Production Manager in a timely manner to help reduce waste. Observe equipment and report major equipment concerns to your supervisor. Follow company policies, safety rules, Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, ISO9001 procedures, and customer operating requirements. Work productively without direct supervision while maintaining positive working relationships with supervisors and coworkers. Assist with additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management. What We’re Looking For Ability to lift up to 55 lbs on a repetitive basis. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to follow step-by-step directions with accuracy and attention to detail. Basic math skills. Basic computer skills. Strong problem-solving skills. Dependable attendance and reliable transportation. A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team. Work Environment This is a hands-on production role in a food manufacturing environment. The position requires repetitive lifting, standing for extended periods, following detailed blending instructions, and working safely around production equipment. Team members are expected to follow sanitation, safety, quality, and operating procedures at all times.
