Maintenance Manager

Food & Beverage Maintenance ManagerIndianapolis, INWe are seeking an experienced and driven Food & Beverage Maintenance Manager to lead and oversee all maintenance operations within our food and beverage production facility. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, maintaining regulatory compliance, and leading a skilled maintenance team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, supervise, and develop the maintenance team (technicians, mechanics, electricians)Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programsEnsure maximum equipment uptime and operational efficiencyTroubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issuesManage CMMS system and maintenance documentationCoordinate capital improvement projects and equipment installationsMaintain compliance with:FDA regulationsUSDA requirements (if applicable)OSHA standardsGMP and HACCP protocolsManage maintenance budgets, parts inventory, and vendor relationshipsDrive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma preferred)Support production scheduling and minimize operational disruptionsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field (or equivalent experience)5+ years of maintenance leadership experience in food or beverage manufacturingStrong knowledge of:Packaging equipmentConveyance systemsPLC troubleshootingPumps, motors, and refrigeration systemsExperience with CMMS systemsProven ability to manage teams and improve performance metricsStrong understanding of food safety and regulatory compliancePreferred QualificationsLean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certificationExperience with high-speed production linesKnowledge of ammonia refrigeration systemsBilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
