We invite you to be part of our journey in crafting inspiring landscapes.As a survey crew/party chief, you will engage in diverse survey tasks across various projects, including construction staking, boundary surveys, topography surveys, and ALTA surveys. Working under the guidance of our professional land survey manager, you will apply your comprehensive understanding of field concepts, practices, and procedures to contribute to the success of the team.This role also offers the opportunity to engage in project management responsibilities including project research, boundary calculations, and collaborate on project planning and coordination; enhancing your skills while ensuring the quality and precision of survey activities.You will work in all types of terrain and weather conditions.This position includes:The use of a company truck for transportation to and from job sitesApplicable PPE (personal protective equipment) providedWork boot reimbursement programCompany issued laptopCell phone reimbursement optionsReceive fully paid training, opportunity to participate in our mentorship program, and gain hands-on experience by shadowing seasoned and licensed professionalsQualificationsYou are passionate about:Working collaboratively with others.Having ownership in the work you do.Using your talents to positively affect communities.You bring to the team:Strong communication skillsAbility to contribute and work well on a team4 years of experience working with a licensed surveyorExperience with construction staking, boundary surveys, topography surveys, and ALTA surveys, is preferredValid driver's license with a good driving historyMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 poundsThe ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner#LI-DNIAdditional InformationOlsson specializes in engineering and design, client advisory services, planning, field services, and environmental.
