This group develops custom software tools and applications for Maya HTT’s clients in the field of engineering. The projects can cover domains as varied as geometric modelling, computer-aided manufacturing, or numerical simulations, and can be implemented using languages such as C#, Python, or C++, to name a few.What To Expect As Your Main ResponsibilitiesUse Agile development principles (scrum, Kanban) to develop, maintain, and integrate custom engineering software tools and productsUnderstand client workflows, requirements, and needs, and recommend solutions and best practicesDesign, implement, and deploy new functionalityMaintain existing products and support client requestsImplement unit testsPropose and code fixes or workarounds for defectsDocument all work performedYou will be successful in this role if you have:Degree in Computer Science /Mechanical Engineering, or other related fields4+ years’ experience as a software developerStrong analytical and software programming skills (C#.NET, Python, C++)Familiarity with object-oriented practices is requiredExcellent communication skills, both oral and writtenFamiliarity with CAD/CAE/CAM platforms and engineering processes is beneficialExperience with versioning systems and project management tools (Git, JIRA, Azure Dev Ops, etc) is a plusAbility to work in a teamSelf-motivatedIf you have experience with these, we want to hear from you:Experience with CAD/CAE APIs, such as NX OpenTeamcenter as well as experience in Server and Client customization.EDA Automation and knowledge of Cadence, Xpedition and or Altium APIElectronics and PCB design workflowWhy join Maya HTT?Flex Working Hours and 100% Remote Work.
