Job DescriptionSchedule:Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pmProvider will round in the morning, and every third day they will take a turn managing all hospital calls/consults, etc. (during shift hours)NO CALL on evenings or weekends - only during regular business hoursThe need is for 2-3 weeks per monthJob Description:Candidates must be Board Certified in Psychiatry (Will not accept BE)Experience in treating patients ages 6 and up is preferredInpatient Psych (adult unit and adolescent unit), Hospital Consults, ER Consults -- NOT OPEN TO TELEHEALTHAverage Number of Patients Per Day: 5-12Total Number of Beds: 18 adults, 5 adolescentsHow Many Psychiatrists in Your Group? 1 part-time inpatient right nowHow Many Advanced Practice Providers Support Your Group? 2How Many Psychologists? Zero, inpatientDocumentation System/EMR: CernerTrauma Level/Designation IIIReferral/Transfer Protocol: University of Iowa, 40 minutes by carSafety/Security Measures in Place: security on each campusRequired Treatment Disorders: Anxiety Disorders, Affective Disorders, ADD/ADHD, Personality Disorders, Eating Disorders, Developmental Disorders, Psychotic Disorders, Organic DisordersRequired to have familiarity with Family Therapy, Restraint Application, Group Therapy, Pharmacotherapy, Seclusion therapy, Voluntary Commitments, ERNot accepting visa candidatesEstimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
