Poultry Scientist
Great opportunity for professionals with an Animal Science, Agriculture, or a closely related Bachelor's degree interested in working in the U.S. on a TN Visa. Only citizens of Canada and Mexico are eligible for the TN Visa program.JOB DUTIES:1. Daily collection of mortality while reviewing causes of death and applying strategies to reduce daily mortality2. Ensure feed and waterline heights are adequate for the size and age of the bird3. Administer medications and supplements on a scheduled basis4. Perform necropsy and strategize methods to improve animal health5. Monitor feed and water consumption6. Ensure proper lighting is applied to birds during stages of life7. Cleans poultry houses, feeders, and water systems8. Daily equipment inspections and general preventative maintenance tasks9.
