Overview
In this role you will develop on the Salesforce platform, delivering hands-on solutions across Cloud and integration initiatives. You will work as part of a global delivery team to implement Salesforce-driven processes, customizing Apex, Visualforce, and web services to meet complex business needs. You’ll handle deployments, integrations, and security considerations to scale customer-facing solutions. This is a technically focused, impactful position that supports large-scale, cross-functional programs.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop ApexClasses, VisualForcePages, Triggers, Controllers to meet complex business requirementsImplement and maintain SOAP/REST web services and WSDL generationDesign and manage integrations using Metadata API, ChangeSet, Ant; ensure governor limits and deployment best practicesUtilize SOSL/SOQL, Workflows, and JavaScript (JQuery) as needed to enable business processesCoordinate with integration tools (CastIron/Boomi) to connect Salesforce with on-premise systems (Siebel, OMS, Java-based systems)Support Single Sign-On and security implementationsParticipate in Salesforce deployments and packagingDevelop and maintain integration code with proper error handling and performance considerations
Key requirementsAt least 1 year of Salesforce development and implementationsPlatform Dev1/2 or DEV 501 CertificationStrong command of Apex, Visualforce, controllers, triggers, batch processes, APIs and web servicesExperience on Force.com platform/Sales Cloud/Service Cloud implementationsKnowledge of deployment methods (Metadata API, ChangeSet, Ant) and coding standardsExperience with Force.com integration technologies and third-party toolsUnderstanding of governor limits and security implementationsExperience with SOAP/REST web services and WSDL generationJQuery and SOQL/SOSL proficiencyExperience with SSO and Java a plusBachelor’s degree or equivalent; 2+ years IT experienceWillingness to work in a global delivery environmentTeam collaborationStrong communicationAdaptabilityApexVisualforceApex Triggers
