Valve Tech - Control Valve

Position SummaryThe successful candidate will be working with the other Valve Techs and craftsmen in an on-site central repair shop, disassembling valves for repair, cleaning and inspecting parts, developing work scopes, and reassembling valves to client specifications.Primary ResponsibilitiesMust be capable of following all shop procedures and safety rules without exceptionMust be capable of consistently and accurately identify valve typesMust be able to calibrate test gaugesCapable of consistently and accurately reading precision measuring tools, and operate valve shop equipment: drill presses, band saws, test standsCapable of reading & understanding drawings and repair manualsCapable of troubleshooting and providing failure analysis on valve repairsCapable of performing valve repairs, document and calibrations of Conventional PSV, Pilot PSV, PRD or Control Valves and Hydro TestCapable of drawing detailed sketches of various valve parts when neededQualificationsMinimum 2–5 years in Valve Tech PositionsControl Valve experience requiredPhysical RequirementsSelected candidates must be able to complete the following physical functions including but not limited to climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, and other repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodation.J-18808-Ljbffr
