BPCM is seeking a talented Senior Account Executive to join our Corporate Communications team. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in thought leadership and storytelling, with a passion for helping brands define corporate narratives and amplify purpose-driven initiatives. We are looking for an energetic, proactive, and collaborative professional with strong media relations expertise, established editorial contacts, and a strategic approach to client management. The ideal candidate will be passionate, have strong attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.RequirementsMedia Relations/Thought LeadershipDevelop and maintain strong editorial relationships across business, trade, and consumer mediaSecure strategic press coverage, including features, executive profiles, and long-form stories across print, digital, broadcast, and podcast platformsProactively pitch and identify editorial opportunities that enhance corporate narratives and reputationIdentify and secure speaking engagements, panels, and awards opportunities for senior executivesSupport development of byline content and thought leadership placementsPartner with senior team members to create and execute measurable PR strategiesManage media inquiries efficiently and in a timely mannerClient RelationsServe as a primary client contact, managing and driving multiple account programs; leading status callsBuild and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and strategic counselEnsure projects and milestones are delivered on time and provide measurable valueRespond promptly and accurately to client requestsAdvise on brand positioning and messaging, including development and editing of press materials (press releases, talking points, Q&As, interview prep, etc.)Ideate, plan, and execute partnerships and activationsReporting & ToolsReview and oversee media monitoring and reporting on client news and industry trendsManage press credit reporting according to client needsEnsure timely creation and distribution of editorial reports, press clippings, and budget trackingMonitor media landscape and trends to inform timely, relevant storytelling and positioningUtilize tools such as MuckRack, PowerPoint, and ExcelWriting & Content DevelopmentDraft and edit press releases, pitches, Q&As, and other client materials aligned with brand messagingSupport executive communications, including thought leadership and LinkedIn content strategyEnsure all written materials are clear, compelling, and aligned with client objectivesPresent ideas effectively to clients and internal teamsTeam Management & DevelopmentOversee day-to-day account activities across multiple clientsManage and mentor junior team members, including internsEnsure efficient workflow, prioritization, and communication with senior leadershipSupport team development and contribute to a positive, collaborative cultureChampion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives internally and externallyQualificationsMinimum of 4 years of experience in PR and/or Marketing (agency or in-house)Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or related fieldProven track record of securing press coverage and maintaining strong editorial relationshipsStrong writing skills, including experience developing executive messaging and thought leadership contentExcellent project management and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and relationship-building abilitiesAbility to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretionProactive, solutions-oriented mindsetDetail-oriented with the ability to manage shifting priorities and deadlinesExperience working with sustainable or purpose-driven brands is a plusBenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision Benefits401k and additional supplementary benefitsWFH StipendSummer FridaysGenerous PTO policy with a 2-week holiday break in DecemberThis role will be hybrid, 3 days minimum in office.The anticipated salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 annually. Actual compensation is based on a range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location.
