Payment Risk Operations Specialist

In shortOn is a fast-growing sportswear brand, and with this growth comes an exciting opportunity to join our DTC Operations team.As a specialist focusing on consumer payments and risk, your primary responsibility is to ensure On customers are happy! You will help us strive to become the leading sports retailer in the industry. In this role, you will use our CRM, order management systems, and backend payment processor to support our customer-facing team by reviewing e-commerce purchasing behavior, mitigating credit card fraud, and addressing inauthentic activity patterns.Your missionMaintain a strong familiarity with the back-end systems that power our customer experience, including Microsoft D365, Salesforce, and Adyen (or a similar payment processor), and use this knowledge to manage and mitigate fraud spikesReview patterns in data to identify trends of inauthentic activity and mitigate high-risk/fraudulent activity across our platformProvide ongoing suggestions for improvements to systems and processes and maintain SOPs around handling fraud-related customer inquiriesBuild collaborative partnerships across On, including our global Risk and Finance teams, to share insights, solve issues as they arise, and meet joint objectivesOther duties and responsibilities as neededYour story1-2 years of experience in e-commerce support/operations, using Microsoft D365 and Salesforce Lightning or similar ERP/CRM programs1+ year experience with Adyen or similar payment processor, ideally working with fraud or risk topics; experience with chargeback or dispute resolution a plusExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to communicate cross-functionally and explain complex operational processesEnthusiasm in approaching new opportunities and challenges, viewing setbacks and adversity as opportunities to rebound and try a different approachAbility to operate effectively with minimal guidance, approaching problems with an investigative mindset even in uncertain or ambiguous situationsA mindset that seeks to grow and be challenged and a willingness to self-reflect and take feedback on areas of personal strength and weaknessWhat We OfferThis role is full-time and may include weekends (subject to change to meet team needs). Work hours average 8 hours per day, 5 days a week between 6 AM and 6 PM, Monday to Sunday, and may include at least one weekend work day.
