Grazeologist (Food Industry non-restaurant)

Overview Graze Craze of Urbandale, IA is now hiring full and part-time "Grazeologists"! This position is in the food industry (non-restaurant) preparing and assembling charcuterie boards and boxes. Exceptional customer service is a must. We expect all team members to be positive and detail-oriented, interact with guests, follow recipes, follow food preparation guidelines, and clean as they go. No prior food experience needed. Store hours are Monday thru Saturday 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. and some Sundays by appointment. Applicants must have a flexible schedule and be available for days, some evenings, and weekends. Starting pay is $12/hour plus tips (average $5 per hour in tips historically but not guaranteed). Responsibilities - Create visually appealing and delicious grazing boards for events such as weddings, corporate gatherings, and social functions - Design and set up charcuterie boards in an aesthetically pleasing manner - Collaborate with clients to understand their preferences and dietary requirements - Maintain cleanliness and organization while preparing food items Requirements - Creativity and attention to detail to craft visually stunning presentations - Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members - Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations - Flexibility to work irregular hours based on event schedules Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $12.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Supplemental Pay: Tips Ability to Commute: Urbandale, IA 50322 (Required) Work Location: In person
