Mainframe Storage Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Storage Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing storage solutions that meet the needs of our organization. Role: Mainframe Storage Engineer (ONSITE) Location: Lakewood CO, Durham NC, Woodlawn MD Looking for an expert in z/OS and Time-Sharing Option with strong hands-on experience in technical writing and Ansible playbooks. Skills: IBM job Control Language (JCL) , CA-1 Tape Management System (TMS) Storage Management system (SMS) , Time sharing Option (TSO). 7 years of experience or more as a Mainframe Storage Engineer and Experience with Data Domain and Dell EMC DLm8500 systems with in depth Knowledge of ISPF and InsightIQ Requirement : 7 years of experience with problem monitoring and engineering problem resolutions on virtual tape architectures. 5 years of experience with Dell/EMC, VSM, VLE and ZFS Virtual tape Libraries. 4 years of experience supporting Disaster Recovery planning, testing, monitoring and restoration for virtual tape storage systems 2 years of experience using Data Domain Management Center (DDMC) Expertise in the Linux command-line environment Job Type: Contract Pay: $53.15 - $60.34 per hour Benefits: Health insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Security clearance: Confidential (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Durham, NC 27701 (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: Durham, NC 27701: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Work Location: In person
