Licensed Associate Dentist

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Licensed Associate Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. Responsibilities Provide thorough dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients across all age groups. Perform general dentistry procedures including restorations, crowns, bridges, preventive care and cosmetic procedures. Conduct complex procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy a plus, and prosthodontics with precision and care. Utilize dental imaging technology and interpret results to inform treatment decisions. Maintain detailed and accurate medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed using aseptic techniques to protect patients and staff. Collaborate with team members on patient assessments, treatment strategies, and follow-up care to optimize outcomes. Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques, including proficiency in software such as Dentrix. Requirements Valid state license to practice dentistry as a Licensed Associate Dentist. DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school GPR and AEGD preferred Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic setting with familiarity in dental terminology and procedures. Strong knowledge of general dentistry practices, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and infection control standards. Proficiency in dental software platforms such as Dentrix is highly preferred. Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy a plus, and other complex procedures confidently. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs effectively and communicate treatment plans clearly. Knowledge of medical terminology and medical imaging techniques relevant to dentistry. Commitment to maintaining HIPAA compliance and safeguarding patient confidentiality at all times. Strong understanding of anatomy, medical documentation standards, and aseptic techniques necessary for safe practice.
