As part of this commitment, we offer:100% PPO medical, dental, and vision insurance for our employees, 50% for their dependents, paid by the CompanyA cell phone stipend401(k) match program, pet insurance, life insurance, and more.LocationThe position is based at DrinkPAK's Headquarters in Santa Clarita, California.TypeFull Time; Hourly / Non-ExemptResponsibilitiesEnsure GMP and food safety requirements and policies are implemented and respectedCapable of implementing and coordinating food safety programs (HACCP, Environmental Monitoring, Pest Management, Raw Material, and Finished Product Sampling Plan) for DrinkPAKCertified Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) preferredSupport the implementation of corrective actions associated with Identified gaps (both internal and external)Ensure data is entered into the QMS accurately and in a timely mannerEnsure the correct transactions in QMS are conducted and completed as required (releases, blocks, returns)Issue Certificate of Analysis to customers and keep record of the history of recorded analysis resultsVerification of customer documentation requirements for products being supplied from the facility, including bills of lading, packing lists, delivery notes, and quality certificatesWork closely with Supply Chain to ensure incoming ingredients, chemicals, and packaging materials are sampled, inspected, and approved for use in the production facilityProvide support to correct key food safety complaintsContinuous improvement of Quality CultureCollect, test, and report results in process Brix, pH, and Titratable Acids and other in-process analyses to ensure they fall within specification ranges.Assist in implementing and maintaining the SQF Food Safety and Quality systems.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Food Science or related field (Biology, Microbiology, Food Microbiology, etc.)At least 3 years' experience as QA/QC in the Beverage industryBilingual (English & Spanish) is preferredKnowledge of HACCP, GMPs, Environmental Monitoring, and microbiological testingKnowledge and experience of GFSI audit schemesExcellent communication skills and a team playerStrong leadership abilitiesUnderstanding of government regulations in relation to food processingStrong personal computer skills i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, WHS systemsWilling to work weekend and evening shifts as requiredOur ValuesOur company's culture is guided by our shared values of Speed, Intensity, and Purpose.
