Apply via Dice today!Job Title: ITSM Analyst – Telecom Expense ManagementLocation: Morristown, New Jersey (100% Onsite from Day 1)Duration: 6 MonthsExperience Required: 6–8 YearsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in IT or related discipline (Required)Role SummaryThe ITSM Analyst – Telecom is responsible for managing enterprise telecom inventory, billing validation, vendor coordination, and cost optimization across multiple telecommunications platforms. The role focuses on consolidating telecom billing systems, improving process efficiency, ensuring contract compliance, and delivering accurate reporting and cost transparency to leadership.This position involves working closely with telecom carriers, IT teams, finance, and third-party vendors to ensure accurate telecom expense management (TEM), streamlined operations, and optimized communication costs.Key ResponsibilitiesTelecom Billing & Inventory ManagementInteract with telecom and IT vendors to obtain supporting documentation for accurate inventory recordsValidate telecom savings, requirements, and billing accuracy across services (DIA, Broadband, MPLS, etc.)Audit and verify telecom invoices, chargebacks, and contract complianceMaintain and improve telecom inventory and billing accuracy across platformsTelecom Expense Management (TEM)Work on Calero or similar Telecom Management platformsConsolidate telecom cost structures into a single enterprise billing platformSupport integration and migration of new TEM systemsDevelop reporting metrics for management visibilityCost Optimization & ForecastingForecast monthly and quarterly telecom run rates and variancesIdentify opportunities to reduce telecom spendSupport RFP processes and vendor negotiationsVendor & Stakeholder ManagementManage telecom carrier relationships and SLAsCoordinate with IT, Finance, AP, and field teamsLead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with vendorsOversee third-party vendor performance and issue resolutionProcess Improvement & GovernanceDevelop and improve telecom ordering and disconnect processesEnsure compliance with BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, and OFAC requirementsSupport audit and compliance activitiesImplement best practices for telecom lifecycle managementProject & Leadership ResponsibilitiesLead telecom transformation initiativesManage multiple priorities and projects simultaneouslyProvide guidance on telecom deployment and lifecycle processesSupport team development and cross-functional collaborationRequired Skills & QualificationsStrong experience in Telecom Assurance and Telecom BillingHands-on experience with telecom inventory and TEM tools (Calero preferred)Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial reconciliation skillsExperience managing telecom carriers and vendor SLAsKnowledge of telecom services (MPLS, DIA, broadband, cellular, voice, international)Experience in forecasting telecom costs and managing budgetsStrong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and competing prioritiesExperience with RFPs, contract review, and vendor negotiationsProficiency in project management methodologies and toolsPreferred AttributesStrong organizational and decision-making abilitiesExperience working in large enterprise environmentsAbility to translate business requirements into telecom solutionsProven track record of cost optimization and process improvementSYSMIND LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
