Please ask about our generous referral fees.Permanent job openingSeeking a board certified family medicine or internal medicine physician• Must have 3+ years of leadership experience overseeing physicians• Leadership position with a 50% leadership / 50% clinical split• Work schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30a-5p• Full-time position• Value-based care model• See patients on a monthly basis• Small patient panels, typically 350-450 patients per physician• On-call responsibilities limited to your own patient panel• In most situations, physicians are not required to supervise APPs• Clinical population consists primarily of Medicare Advantage patients age 65 and older• Average patient age is approximately 71-72, often with multiple chronic conditions• Focus on geriatric primary care and complex chronic disease management• The practice does not typically see children or younger adults• EMR: proprietary platform• No 2026 or 2027 residents• No visa sponsorship availableAllow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more.Area Information:Houston, Texas, is one of the fastest-growing and most diverse cities in the United States, offering a strong economy and a vibrant cultural scene. A capitated medical practice receives a fixed, predetermined payment for each patient assigned to them over a specific period, typically on a per-member, per-month basis, regardless of how many services the patient uses.The care model is built around value-based, preventive medicine with a focus on proactive care, chronic disease management, and strong physician-patient relationships. The organization partners with Medicare Advantage health plans to deliver coordinated care designed to improve outcomes and reduce hospitalizations.
