Our therapy team works collaboratively with nursing, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver personalized rehabilitation services in a supportive and patient-focused environment.Position SummaryWe are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This position is available as Full-Time and Per Diem. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans for residents recovering from illness, injury, or surgery.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide physical therapy treatments and interventions as directed by the supervising Physical TherapistAssist residents in improving mobility, strength, balance, and functional independenceMonitor and document patient progress and communicate updates to the Physical Therapist and care teamEducate residents and families on therapeutic exercises and safety techniquesMaintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory guidelinesEnsure a safe and clean treatment environmentCollaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomesQualificationsGraduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant programActive Florida PTA license (required)Previous experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation preferred but not requiredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environmentCompassionate and patient-centered approach to careBenefits (Full-Time Positions May Include)Competitive compensationHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off (PTO)401(k) retirement planContinuing education opportunitiesSupportive team environment and career growth potentialScheduleFull-Time: Consistent weekly schedulePer Diem: Flexible scheduling based on facility needs
