Job DescriptionGHG Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Aurora, Colorado.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: CVICUDiscipline: RNStart Date: 06/08/2026Duration: 1 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, rotatingEmployment Type: TravelEstimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2576.68\n\nOpportunity:\nRN - CVICU\n\nJob Details:\n• Work 3x12 hour rotating shifts with various days of the week\n• Weekend coverage required per unit needs\n• No on-call responsibilities\n• Floating within scope to meet facility needs and between like units as required\n• 2 years CVICU experience required\n• First-time travelers accepted\n• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, Colorado or Compact RN License\n• Navy scrubs required\n• Epic charting system experience preferred\n• Nurse-to-patient ratios based on acuity, varying from 1:2, 1:1 to 2:1\n• 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule period\n• 72 hours of orientation provided\n• 2 pre-approved time off days available\n• Maximum 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract\n• Completion of facility-specific modules required within first week\n• Care for patients requiring comprehensive circulatory and respiratory support\n• Work with open-heart surgery patients, ventricular assist devices, heart and lung transplants, ECMO, and various cardiovascular procedures\n• Utilize vasoactive medications and complete cardio-pulmonary support at bedside\n• Care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations\n\nFacility:\nThis healthcare organization operates a 24-bed cardiovascular and thoracic intensive care unit that serves as the regional destination for comprehensive circulatory and respiratory support for critically ill adults.
