Director of Key Account SalesAbout the Opportunity:A Jacksonville-based transportation company is hiring a Director of Key Account Sales to lead strategic customer growth, deepen relationships with high-value accounts, and drive revenue, margin, and service expansion. This role is focused on complex transportation, logistics, and supply chain customers, with responsibility for account strategy, solution development, pricing coordination, proposals, negotiation, and long-term customer growth.This is an in-person/sales leadership role based in Jacksonville, FL, with travel expected as needed for customer engagement and business development.What You Will Do:Lead growth strategy for key and strategic transportation accounts.Expand service adoption, share of wallet, revenue, margin, and portfolio growth across existing customer relationships.Build relationships with customer stakeholders ranging from operational contacts to executive decision-makers.Lead, coach, and develop a Key Account Sales Team focused on consultative selling and account expansion.Partner with Operations, Pricing, Finance, Customer Success, and Marketing to align customer needs with transportation solutions.Oversee pricing, proposals, negotiations, onboarding, and service expansion initiatives.Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, CRM documentation, and sales performance visibility.Use data, account planning, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.Represent the organization in customer meetings, business development opportunities, and industry-facing settings as needed.Required Qualifications:Proven record of exceeding sales targets in a complex, consultative B2B sales environment.Experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, freight, 3PL, warehousing, distribution, fleet, or a closely related operational service environment.Experience managing and expanding key, strategic, national, enterprise, or major customer accounts.Ability to influence customer decisions across multiple stakeholder levels.Experience with proposals, pricing discussions, negotiations, account planning, and revenue growth.Strong CRM, pipeline management, forecasting, and sales process discipline.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.Ability to work in-person/based in Jacksonville, FL.Openness to travel up to 50%, by car or flight, depending on customer location.Preferred Qualifications:Prior leadership of sales professionals, account teams, or player-coach sales teams.Experience selling transportation, logistics, or supply chain solutions to multi-location or operationally complex customers.Background working cross-functionally with operations, pricing, finance, customer success, dispatch, fleet, carrier operations, or service delivery teams.Experience with strategic account planning, sales analytics, budgeting, quarterly business reviews, or margin-focused growth initiatives.Bachelor’s degree in business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred, but not required.MBA or advanced degree preferred, but not required.Compensation and Work Model:Base salary: Starting at $105,000, with compensation negotiable based on direct transportation, logistics, or supply chain sales experience.Bonus: Eligible for bonus compensation equal to 50% of salary, based on sales team plan achievement.Work model: In-person/field sales.Location: Jacksonville, FL.Travel: Up to 50%, by car or flight, depending on distance.How to Apply:If your background includes transportation, logistics, or supply chain sales with experience growing complex customer accounts, please apply with your resume for consideration.
