Program Coordinator - Tailored Day Services

Reports To: Associate Director Employment Type: Full-time Pay Scale: $25 to $28 per hour Remote Location: No *Job Summary* The Program Coordinator oversees the daily operations and performance of the Direct Support Professional III (DSPIII) team, ensuring that services provided align with organizational goals and best practices. This leadership role includes mentoring and supporting case managers, monitoring service quality, managing workloads, and fostering professional development within the team. The supervisor also plays an active role in program development, compliance, and building a culture of accountability and compassion. *Responsibilities* * Provide direct supervision, guidance, and support to (DSPIII)’s and other support staff. * Conduct regular team meetings, individual supervision sessions, and performance evaluations. * Assist in onboarding, training, and ongoing development of (DSPIII)’s. * Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment. * Oversee the development and implementation of client Individual Service Plans (ISP), ensuring they are client-centered and goal-driven. * Monitor the quality and timeliness of case documentation and reporting. * Ensure compliance with organizational policies, funding requirements, and industry standards. * Conduct periodic file audits and provide feedback for improvement. * Serve as an escalation point for complex or difficult cases, providing direct support or guidance as needed. * Review and approve ISP’s and service strategies. * Assist with developing and maintaining relationships with community resources and partner organizations. * Collaborate with the Associate Director to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for growth. * Develop policies and procedures to streamline case management practices. * Support the organization’s mission through participation in events, advocacy, and strategic initiatives. * Manage team schedules and workloads to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. * Prepare and submit reports on program outcomes, team performance, and client progress. * Address staffing issues, including hiring recommendations and disciplinary actions, in coordination with the Associate or Executive Director. * Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities. * Expertise in case management principles, client advocacy, and resource coordination. * Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. * Proficient in documentation standards and client management systems. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Empathetic and compassionate, with a commitment to empowering clients. * Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities effectively. * Dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment. * Other duties as assigned. *Key Performance Areas (KPAs)* 1. Proactively look to enrich client’s lives *Qualifications* * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field preferred. * Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in case management, social services, or a related field. Management experience preferred.
