This position requires a valid Arizona armed guard license and strong situational awareness. Armed guards are expected to maintain a high level of vigilance, respond to incidents, enforce site policies, and act as a visible deterrent to criminal activity. Officers must be calm under pressure, follow post orders, and act in accordance with state laws and company policy regarding the use of force.ResponsibilitiesProvide armed security presence at assigned locationConduct regular foot or vehicle patrols as required by post ordersMonitor for suspicious activity, trespassing, theft, vandalism, or safety concernsSecure property, buildings, and access pointsIncident ResponseRespond to emergencies, disturbances, or security breachesDe-escalate situations when possible; use appropriate force only when necessaryContact law enforcement or emergency services when neededFollow company and legal procedures when handling any use-of-force situationsReporting & DocumentationWrite accurate incident reports and shift activity logsDocument any security violations, interactions, or suspicious observationsReport all major incidents to supervisors or dispatch in a timely mannerCommunication & ConductMaintain clear, professional communication with supervisors, dispatch, and fellow guardsProvide customer service and support to clients, staff, residents, or visitorsUphold Delta Security Services' standards of appearance, behavior, and integrityQualifications & RequirementsMust have a valid Arizona Armed Guard License (current and in good standing)Must have a valid Firearm Qualification Card (AZ DPS)Minimum 21 years of ageHigh school diploma or GEDClean background and able to pass pre-employment drug screeningNo felony convictions or prohibitions from possessing a firearmMust have reliable transportation and a working phoneAbility to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periodsStrong verbal and written communication skillsProfessional appearance and demeanorPreferred QualificationsPrior experience as an armed guard, law enforcement, or militaryCPR/First Aid certificationBilingual (English/Spanish)Knowledge of report writing, radio use, and emergency response proceduresWhy Join Delta Security Services?Competitive pay and consistent schedulingOpportunities for advancementProfessional and supportive work environmentTraining and supervision provided
