Extraction Janitor

Sanitation WorkerJob Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation throughout our cannabis extraction facility. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures and sanitation protocols. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Clean and sanitize production vessels, extraction equipment, utensils, and tools according to established procedures. Clean floors, walls, drains, workstations, and production equipment throughout the facility. Maintain cleanliness in production areas, warehouses, hallways, break rooms, restrooms, and other common areas. Restock restroom supplies, soap dispensers, paper towels, and other facility consumables. Perform routine industrial cleaning and sanitation tasks using approved chemicals and equipment. Safely move and handle equipment, supplies, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Fabricate or assemble sanitation tools and cleaning aids as needed. Properly dispose of waste and maintain sanitation logs when required. Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety procedures, and company sanitation standards. Assist other departments with cleaning and housekeeping projects as assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in industrial, commercial, or manufacturing cleaning preferred. Experience sanitizing equipment and maintaining hygienic work environments. Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is a plus; cannabis manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. Physical Requirements Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, and reach throughout the workday. Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Work around cleaning chemicals while using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks for extended periods. Work Environment This position is performed in a cannabis extraction and manufacturing facility. Employees must follow all safety, sanitation, and PPE requirements while working around manufacturing equipment, cleaning chemicals, and production areas.
