The construction manager oversees utility, roads and vertical construction projects across the airport. This role will support both new construction and renovation efforts, ensuring all work aligns with project specifications, regulatory standards, and stakeholder expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee all phases of vertical construction within concourse and terminal areas, ensuring compliance with approved plans, specifications, and regulatory standardsCoordinate daily activities with contractors and a broad range of stakeholders.Review and evaluate contractor schedules, monitor progress, and identify potential risks or delaysSupport the change management process by assessing proposed changes and facilitating necessary approvalsNavigate and interpret design documents, technical specifications, and contract requirements with accuracy and confidenceEnsure construction activities meet minimum code requirements and quality standardsCommunicate effectively across teams to resolve field issues and maintain project momentumParticipate in project meetings and contribute to decision-making and issue resolutionProvide field oversight and documentation, including daily inspection reports and tracking of deficienciesCollaborate with inspectors and project managers to verify installed quantities and support pay application reviewsBe available for occasional night-time work as required by project schedules or operational need QualificationsBachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Architecture, Project or Construction Management or related. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in managing projects of similar size, type and complexity. Previous aviation project/construction management experience preferred but not required. Familiarity with building codes and standards, and ability to interpret design documents and contract specificationsKnowledge of FAA regulations, airport safety standards, and environmental compliance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. With proficiency in scheduling software and MS Office Suites.
