Press Supervisor
JOB SUMMARY
Stamping Supervisor of daily Press Room activities, including work force allocation and scheduling of production. Assist Press Room Manager in ensuring all targets related to Safety, Quality and Productivity are met or exceeded.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily Supervision of all Press Shop personnel
Implementation of "World Class" Manufacturing Policies and Procedures
Strong Stamping and Assembly experience.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
Support in related areas of the environmental management system
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Health and Safety of all subordinates including any sub-contractor working in the area of responsibility.
Supports the Operational Performance Metrics relating to Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery and helps ensure all targets are met or exceeded.
Production data collection and reporting using MRP system.
Supports and contributes to the Annual Operating Plan regarding performance and cost expectations.
Know and enforce health, safety and environmental rules
Seek to reduce safety risks, with support from the safety team
Know the health, safety and environmental procedures in your area and make sure apply
No bypass safety systems and devices
Report accidents and incidents in your area
Training the team, in the safety cards and make sure they applied
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Press Shop experience is a MUST
Press Tooling background would be desirable
Computer literate
At least 5 years' experience within the Automotive Industry showing a steady career progression.
A Minimum of 3 years in a managerial position
A good understanding of "Lean Manufacturing" concepts
Ability to work under pressure and meet stringent timelines.
