You will collaborate with business users to gather ideas about financial products and markets across different asset classes. You will participate in the lifecycle of software development, from gathering business requirements, designing solutions, to writing code. The technology landscape involves Scala programming and other data storage programs. Telecommuting is permitted up to two days per week.What you’ll bring to the role:A Master’s in Computational Media, Information Technology, or a related field.At least one year of experience in a similar position or as an Associate Software Developer, Software Engineer, or related occupation.Experience with any of the following skills: Scala or Java; data structures; design patterns; algorithmic complexity; understanding of multithreading; performance tuning; Git; Bitbucket; and JIRA.What you can expect from Morgan Stanley:At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients – helping them reach their goals.
