Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Process Quality ManagementPerform internal process and quality system audits; maintain the Airtech internal audit planFacilitate ISO9001 certification auditsManage the corrective actions business processFacilitate the disposition of non-conforming materialSupport engineering with the assessment of process/product risk and the implementation of control plansSupport and develop Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA’s) with Manufacturing and New Product DevelopmentParticipate in the review of product and process change requestsSupport the calibration and monitoring of measurement equipmentManage the data collection (including SPC), analysis, and improvement activitiesIssue quality alerts in response to customer complaints and process excursionsProduct Quality ManagementPerform internal product auditsSupport product design engineering, new-product development, and new-product introduction by ensuring alignment between product requirements and material specificationsTrouble shoot and drive resolution to manufacturing related quality issuesReporting and ImprovementParticipate in daily GEMBA walks and maintain a Quality GEMBA boardProvide monthly reports on routine quality processes, improvement projects and problem solvingIdentify opportunities to enhance the quality management system and independently drive improvementDevelop and present data during the Quality Management Reviews.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Deep knowledge of common quality management terminology, methods and toolsDemonstrated knowledge of testing best practices and defect management processesWorking experience with the ISO 9001 quality management systemAbility to work and perform in a team environment and effective interpersonal skillsDemonstrated high attention to detailExcellent analytical decision making and problem-solving skillsProven ability to resolve issues and participate in process improvement activitiesExcellent written and verbal skillsAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusionsAbility to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situationsEDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCEBachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline required.5-8 years of related work experienceExperience with Root Cause Analysis, GD&T, measuring equipment, SPC and lean manufacturing preferred.Experience in programming coordinate-measurement-machines (CMM) preferred.Prior experience with ISO 9001Certifications as ISO9001 / ISO9100 / IATF / ISO13485 auditor preferred.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are represented of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
