Electrical Estimator

Responsibilities:Estimate labor, material, sub-contractor, and machinery costs associated with electrical construction (residential, commercial, industrial etc.)Review bid proposal documents (project plans, specifications, drawings) to determine scope of workPrepare estimates and perform project takeoffsParticipate in bid presentations with clientsDevelop and maintain working relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors etc.Analyze various drawings and specifications (electrical, mechanical, civil, structural)Participate in pre-bid job site inspections Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Construction Management OR 5 years of experience in an electrical construction estimating roleKnowledge of electrical theory and practice, engineering/design concepts, estimating, and negotiatingFamiliar with NEC, FLS, and FAC regulationsFamiliar with Procore, Bluebeam, Accubid, Clearstory, and Deltek
