Operations & Technology Fraud Products Team LeadBe part of the Operations & Technology Fraud Products team developing new capabilities for MasterCard's Decision Management Platform, which serves as the core for multiple business solutions to combat fraud and validate cardholder identity. Our patented Java-based platform processes billions of transactions per month in tens of milliseconds using a multi-tiered, message-oriented approach for high performance and availability.RoleTechnically lead a team of talented developers to develop high-performance, high-volume Java decision processing applicationsPlan, design and develop technical solutions and alternatives to meet business requirements in adherence with MasterCard standards, processes and best practicesWork closely with partner technical leads and architectsAssist with support issues by troubleshooting incidents and problem ticketsPossess the aptitude to quickly learn and contribute to our complex platformProvide technical expertise to ensure effective delivery of software capabilities and be an integral part of the Agile SAFe discover and elaboration sessionsParticipate in PoCs (Proof of Concept) and help the Department with selection of Vendor Solutions, Technologies, Methodologies and FrameworksPerform code reviews of co-worker's deliverables to ensure best practicesProvide strong technical guidance to junior team members – lead with a technical visionAll About YouMust be passionate, high-energy, detail-oriented, proactive and have the ability to function under pressure in an independent environment.Must provide the necessary skills to have a high degree of initiative and self-motivation to drive results.Possesses strong communication skills -- both verbal and written – and strong relationship, collaborative skills and organizational skills.Willingness and ability to learn and take on challenging opportunities and to work as a member of matrix based diverse and geographically distributed project team.Knowledge of software development processes including agile processes and test driven developmentEssential Skills required:Technical experience using Java/JEESpring Framework (including Spring Boot)Familiarity with cloud technologies like cloud foundry, kubernetesStrong Linux and shell scriptingOracle & PL/SQL and advanced SQL scriptingIDE such as JBoss Developer Studio/IntelliJDesirable Skills:Messaging – MQ and JMSBusiness rules execution systems (e.g. IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM - formerly ILOG))Experience integrating vendor and open source products into an overall systemRequired SkillsBasic Qualification: Additional Skills:Looking for Senior developer who can coach/ mentor Junior developers and can participate in design discussions with the architect. Lead experience is not a must but the confidence and aptitude to take up the challenge is what this role needs. Splunk and Kafka will be good to have. Candidates coming from Financial/ Banking and large enterprise level clients will be attractive for resume selection.
