Job Title: Senior Design EngineerJob Location: Springfield, MissouriJob Duration: Full-TimeJob SummarySeeking a Senior Design Engineer with strong hands-on experience in CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE, GSD/Generative Shape Design, 3D surface and solid modeling, assemblies, GD&T, and engineering change management. The engineer will support New Product Development (NPD), product design, engineering changes, production drawings, and cross-functional product development activities. Marine/boat/yacht design experience is highly preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and modify 3D CAD models for NPD using CATIA 3DEXPERIENCE.Create complex surface and solid models using GSD/Generative Shape Design.Perform design optimization and engineering changes based on product requirements.Develop and validate assemblies for fit, function, manufacturability, and performance.Create production drawings with GD&T annotations and engineering documentation.Manage ECR/ECO/ECN processes while maintaining design data integrity.Support product development throughout the design lifecycle.Collaborate with manufacturing and cross-functional engineering teams.Follow customer specifications, design standards, and PLM processes.Skills RequiredMust Have:Strong hands-on CATIA 3DEXPERIENCECATIA GSD / Generative Shape DesignComplex 3D surface and solid modelingAssembly designProduction drawings and GD&TECR/ECO/ECN experienceNew Product Development (NPD)Mechanical product design experiencePreferred:Marine / Boat / Yacht designAutomotive product designManufacturing/production supportPLM experienceDesign for Manufacturability (DFM)CATIA V5Complex surfacing
