In this role, you will help the art and design staffconduct research, develop and execute publication layout design, create print and digitaldesigns, and assist with administrative tasks as necessary. It's a great opportunity for a studentto gain professional industry experience. A portfolio should be submitted for consideration.Principal Responsibilities- Assist with work/projects as instructed- Create designs for print and digital applications- Some photo editing and cataloging- Contribute ideas and perspective- Follow office policies and procedures- Other duties as assignedRequired Skills:- Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, andPhotoshop.- Microsoft Office knowledge is necessary- Experience with page layout and typography is recommended- Ability to multitask is necessary- Collaboration skills- Ability to communicate effectively- Responsible, able to work within deadlines- Ability to handle private and confidential material and information- ProfessionalismMinimum Qualifications:- Must be enrolled as an ONU student- Current enrollment in graphic design or a creative degree program is preferred, but notrequired- Good academic standingEEO StatementONU is an equal employment opportunity employer.
