All resumes must be two pages in length.\nMust have a hard copy of resume.\nJob Description\nThe Inventory Management Specialist provides technical and administrative direction, inventory management, material coordination, local inventory control and storage of Propulsor material, fleet mission material and other specialized inventories.\nResponsibilities include but are not limited to:\n\nInventory Management (40%): facilitate movement of material throughout the site from receipt inspection, testing, repair receipt processing to disposal. Primary point of contact to maintain project status and resolve problems. Adjust material demands based upon system requirements.\nMaterial Coordination (30%): Coordinate process to get material ready for issue, ready for shipment and scheduled for shipment in order to meet required delivery dates. Acts as liaison to various government agencies and contractors.\nInventory Control (25%): accurate and timely transaction item reporting. Tracks shipments throughout the process and communicates status to various stakeholders.\nSupervisory Functions (5%): provides advice, counsel, instruction and distributes tasking when supervisor is on leave.\n\nQualifications Required for the Position\n\nThorough knowledge of Materials Management, broad range of supply policies and procedures (procurement, receipt, storing, controlling, maintenance, issuing, shipping and disposal of material)\nStrong written and verbal communication skills. Must have the ability to communicate with various levels, internally and externally, and relay information to generate improvement activity.\nAbility to analyze problems, research and collect data, make quick and positive decisions based on past experience and established guidelines.\nAbility to organize, plan, coordinate and execute a project.\n\nSecurity Clearance / Background Check required.
